The Early Childhood Center at Tampa Torah Academy is dedicated to nurturing the whole child and laying the foundation for a lifetime love of learning. From as young as six weeks old through kindergarten, our students flourish in a warm, developmentally appropriate, hands-on environment where every child is known, valued, and supported. Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to promote social-emotional growth, early literacy and numeracy, fine and gross motor development, and emerging independence. We blend rich high-quality general studies with Judaic studies, integrating STEM learning, sensory exploration, music, art, and play-based investigation to inspire curiosity and critical thinking. Children engage in meaningful, joyful learning experiences that support their individual strengths and developmental needs, all while building confidence, kindness, and a strong sense of self.

Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) is a free state-funded educational program in Florida designed to prepare four-year-olds for kindergarten and future academic success. The program emphasizes early literacy, math, and social skills in a supportive and engaging environment. At Tampa Torah Academy, our VPK program blends Florida’s early learning standards with our nurturing, Judaism-centered approach, helping each child develop a love for learning and a strong foundation in both academics and values.
